Morseboard - Morse Code via your keyboard backlight

Because it's there ā€“ George Mallory

As a developer sometimes it can be difficult to remember just because you can do something, does not always mean you should do something. With that thought in mind I'm happy to release Morseboard!

Morseboard receives inbound SMS via the Nexmo API and converts it to Morse Code, which it then displays by flashing your Keyboard backlight. Yes, really. No, I don't know why either.

It supports the letters A-Z, the numbers 0-9 and space characters, anything else is simply ignored. I don't even know if anything more than that is supported in Morseā€¦

Dots last 250ms, dashes 750ms. Full instructions for installing and running Morseboard are in the Github repo. If you're interested in how it works make sure and look at morse.js as this does most of the heavy lifting.
